Economy of the Republic of Moldova in 2025.
Event
Considering the series of crises in which our country has found itself in recent years, the urgent need to objectively speak out problems out loud and find solutions to them, the Institute chose the format of the initial event - a round table and the topic - “Economy of the Republic of Moldova in 2025.

On January 23, 2025, the Public Association "Alpha Institute of Strategic Branding" (INBRASA for short) held the first event in a series of planned direct and indirect actions aimed at a comprehensive and long-term impact on the mindset of Moldovan citizens, with the goal of sensitizing them and the country as a whole to the challenges of the future and shaping the Republic of Moldova as a sustainable state-brand; specifically, a space for advanced development, something between Silicon Valley and Singapore, but assembled according to its own mold.

The task is ambitious and complex, but with the combined and feasible contribution of everyone within the framework of strategic branding and the designated vector, it is achievable.

Given the series of crises our country has faced in recent years and the pressing need to objectively address problems and find solutions, the Institute chose the format of the initial event – a roundtable discussion – and the theme – "The Economy of the Republic of Moldova in 2025. Bottlenecks and Growth Points."

The event featured six industry speakers, who provided a general overview of the current economic situation. They included Alexey Moldovan (economist, marketer – general economic overview), Ilya Trombitsky (ecologist – ecology section), Sergey Mereutsa (software engineer – IT section), Eugen Gîrlea (head of the Renewable Energy Association of the Republic of Moldova – energy section), Vitaly Yatsiuk (architect – infrastructure section), Ruslan Dragoman (entrepreneur – production/services section), and Irina Stakheeva (sommelier, founder of the Sommelier Association of the Republic of Moldova – production/winemaking section).

The goal of the roundtable, in addition to the above, was to expand beyond single-industry approaches and seek solutions through cross-sector interactions between specialists and participants. The ensuing discussion demonstrated that this format is unusual, but very interesting and promising.

In addition to Elena Radu, head of INBRASA, who organized and moderated the event, the following participants were also in the room: Denis Roșca (PhD in Economics), Dmitrii Tărăburcă (economist and real estate appraiser), Galina Shelar (economist), Natalia Uzun (journalist), Tatiana Sinyaeva (PhD in Ecology), Svetlana Derevshchikova (journalist), Svetlana Birsan (PhD in Philology and economist), Mikhail Poisik (PhD in Economics), Ivan Banu (economist and photographer), Yana Chezhegova (interior decorator), and others.

Sincere thanks to the B. P. Hajdeu Municipal Library for providing the room and assistance with the organization.

The Institute of Strategic Branding Alfa (INBRASA), a public association founded in 2024 as a private initiative, invites all those concerned about Moldova's future and open to dialogue and collaboration to join. Everyone will have the opportunity not only to adapt to the challenges of the future but also to become part of a team and a driver of development.
