Part 2. SOCIOCRACY. MULTI-LAYEREDNESS
I thought for a long time about how to write this chapter. And the most optimal thing I came up with is something between a surgeon's operation and the film "The Matrix" – when you cut but save; without sentimentality, but on the bright side.
I'm not entirely comfortable keeping such a cold tone, but I will try.
And I will start with the fact that for some time, messages about artificial intelligence (AI) have begun to appear more frequently to me on the internet. Of course, it is still in the stage of intrauterine formation, but clearly, there will be more further. This both pleases and frightens because even scientists do not understand how AI will develop, being born into our reality.
And what is particularly noteworthy is that against the backdrop of this technological growth, we, people, do not fully know how our own brain works. Our own intelligence is quite natural in origin. Or not quite?..
Remember, I said that complex experiments are the most interesting? Yes, I mentioned it in the article "The Paradigm of the New Era – Sociocracy" (2011-2014). That is when several multi-level objects exist simultaneously in the observer's field of attention, and the change of each of them changes all levels at once.
Moreover, the greatest interest here is not only in determining the objects themselves, their logic of actions, ability to contact each other, but also in the goal of the experiment (there always is one), and in the location of the one who observes the experiment. For the observer also influences the process.
What does such a system look like to an observer? The simplest visual example is the model of the Solar System. In the center, a star named the Sun, and around it the simultaneous movement of planets, which have different speeds, the planets are different in parameters, they have different rotation periods around themselves. But at the same time, they do not scatter across the Universe because the system is permeated by the forces of their mutual attraction, and this makes the entire construction not just a whole organism but also interdependent on each of its parts.
Approximately the same way works the sphere of observation that I propose to consider.
Let's take the situation of 2022 and look at it from the point of writing this text, from Moldova. What do we have in the visible observed field? Military invasion of Russia into Ukraine, consolidation of peoples on the theme of war, energy crisis in Europe, numerous sanctions against Russia, million flows of refugees from Ukraine around the world, disruption of logistical chains in a number of countries, rising prices and tariffs on the European continent, rising inflation, economic downturn and... manifestation in a concentrated form of effects from all this in the Republic of Moldova.
It is precisely these effects from multidirectional, varying-speed, and closely interconnected actions that are the space of our special attention. Their presence gives us reason to assume that the goal of this complex multi-level process is here, in Moldova. And everything around it is instrumentation, often very harsh, solving its tasks at each of its levels, but overall helping specifically it to realize something in itself. To reinterpret. To manifest. And along the way, to share all this with the world, which as a whole is also experiencing a difficult period of life because, as we remember, everything in the Universe is permeated by the forces of mutual attraction.
You now smiled skeptically, hearing about Moldova, but do not rush to conclusions. Of course, I will understand if someone, expressing natural emotions and linear logic, speaks against such a view of the situation, and at their level and from their angle of view, they will be right. But at the same time, you know this, it is precisely meta-systemic thinking and doubt in the visible chain of facts that helps us, thinking people, to understand more deeply the multi-layeredness of what we all are inside.
And therefore, variants of reading reality are permissible.
And so, in our variant, with a high degree of probability, I assume that the development of events is exactly as I say.
Well, at least because there is a constant paradox here. On the one hand, our land possesses an inexhaustible ability over the centuries to give birth to warm, and therefore, attractive energy of place, goodness, and talents. On the other hand – very often they encounter the fact that the system of our state structure cultivates disrespectful internal and external attitude towards Moldova and its people. The sum of these sides makes our country an ideal platform for changes. For understanding the essence of the new paradigm that has arrived, which I call "sociocracy" in the definition that I give. For educating a person as a personality and creator, as the spirit of the coming requires.
Moreover, in Moldova, there is a constant multiple conflict, which, nevertheless, never reaches a dangerous threshold for us – from the lessons of the past, our people can draw the right conclusions.
Here is an artificially fragmented society, however, it is capable, in case of existential moments, to show cohesion in the name of prolonging itself, its name "Republic of Moldova," and neutrality, which is one of the unshakable pillars of preservation and security of the Moldovan multinational people and state.
Here there is an inquisitive mind, and this applies to many in Moldova, regardless of their ethnicity, social status, education, and where, after intersection with our country, our people are on the planet by the will of fate. The connection with Moldova as a place of power is always preserved in us.
And also, there is a special favor of the heavens here, preserving our region and helping it, like a Phoenix, to be reborn.
This and other things are not just a unique set of features of the people and their land but also the "enter" key, which can and does launch the mechanism of transformation.
And if this is so, and it is so, what elements then does our mechanism consist of? To the star and planets, people are added, and this complicates our "solar system" many times over since people are not clones of one person, they are all different, and therefore the system in details becomes less predictable.
If visually, then from more important to less significant, the levels of the construction are as follows:
- directly citizens of the Republic of Moldova,
- the state of the Republic of Moldova,
- countries neighboring Moldova,
- the continent on which the Moldovan republic is located,
- descending, other states and continents of the Earth.
Such gradation slightly contradicts the established configuration of forces and influences in politics, but we will assume that the picture is such. And therefore, everything from outside to inside, layer by layer and at once, works for the main thing – the person inside Moldova.
And this in turn means that the ultimate goal of all visible multi-layeredness is creation and qualitative (personal) growth of a person, which are directly related to moral values and harmony (see the article about the paradigm).
It is clear that the goal is ideal, and therefore, to some extent, it is a dream that is difficult to fulfill quickly. But to approach, especially if the goal has sub-goals in the form of specific tasks for the country, is possible.
The tasks of the Republic of Moldova are simple:
- To preserve itself, its name, and its people and prolong all this into the future for centuries.
- To develop, to pleasantly surprise and prosper.
- To live as an independent house, respecting itself and its citizens and communicating on equal terms with the surrounding world.
And now, solving these tasks, the experiment brings the person closer to the desired.
Let's consider some examples.
- Our related countries Russia and Ukraine are in a direct clash of interests. In fact, the conflict is larger, it is a value confrontation between the West and the East, but we will consider it as such. In 2022, it moved into an acute phase, which was preceded by 8 years of a difficult situation in Donbas, the prototype of which we had in Transnistria in the early 90s.
But our situation of conflict within the country lasted only a few months, which allowed us to subsequently resolve it smoothly at the negotiating table. With what success and desire – that is a separate question, but to resolve peacefully. And this is a huge achievement, from which, alas, our neighbors did not draw conclusions, judging by how tragically events are developing today.
However, already from their own position, we are able to draw a conclusion for ourselves – we confirm to ourselves that we are against weapons, against bloodshed, against war in all its forms. And we are for the neutrality of our own state. This is indisputable.
- Direct military confrontation of countries implies the consolidation of their peoples around values or interests. Some defend one, others – another. Such is the age-old logic of any clashes.
But this same consolidation manifests in other countries not directly involved in the conflict. For example, in relation to refugees. The first weeks of the human flow into Moldova from Ukraine became for Moldovan society an existential moment, which caused in society a feeling of spiritual impulse and unity. Moldova turned out to be that very checkpoint No. 1, which took on the largest amount of load in relation to its own population size and the economic, rather modest, capabilities of the republic.
And this impulse showed the Moldovans themselves, tired of years of accumulated problems, that inside themselves they did not die under their oppression. That hospitality and goodness are stronger than pain, disunity, and hatred. That Moldovan society is capable of self-organization and going ahead of managerial actions from above. And this characterizes our multinational people very positively.
- Energy crisis. In Moldova, it began earlier than in other countries, back in the autumn of 2021. The military actions of neighboring states from the end of February 2022 multiplied it. In a situation of complete dependence on external energy resources, constantly rising prices for them from anyone, and, accordingly, rising cost of living under conditions of an economy shrinking almost to zero, everything in the country turned into an unhealthy downward spiral run.
The situation is artificial, complex, and it is complicated further by the fact that in it, with Moldova's neutral status, there is a factor of political solidarity with one of the sides of the external military conflict for us. This also increases prices inside Moldova, bringing its person to the brink of survival. Any reasonable subject understands that intentional complication of life can give rise not only to unpleasant authorities' critical disturbances of those they press, but also to their elementary death, revolution, or outflow of the population. All these scenarios are negative for the state system and cast doubt on the professionalism of managers. However, politics sometimes is stronger than common sense.
And in order not to destroy Moldovans as a people, in November 2022, an attention-grabbing action occurs, if viewed from the position of exactly the person in Moldova as the ultimate goal of all the "movement of planets." Russia bombs Ukraine's energy infrastructure, and this once causes a blackout in Moldova, since the Moldovan energy grid is paralleled with the Ukrainian one. And therefore, sensitive to changes in it if Moldova itself has no internal reserve option to compensate for energy losses. Immediately, the authorities of RM make an expected decision at any price to buy from neighboring Romania the electricity we lack, which implies again rising tariffs inside Moldova and a new domino effect. But it turns out impossible to do because, according to the words of the vice-prime minister responsible for the Moldovan energy sector, "an inexplicable phenomenon happened – in Germany, the wind stopped blowing, there is no free electricity on the market, and prices suddenly jumped up by 40-60%."
These two geographically different, unconnected, but coinciding external factors led the internal Moldovan managerial decision to the fact that part of the gas was redirected to Transnistria to the Moldovan Thermal Power Plant for generating electricity for the right bank led by Chisinau.
This helped – the energy grid of all Moldova (including the Transnistrian region) stabilized, the price from MoldGRES turned out to be substantially lower than the market and Romanian ones, and moreover, one of the positive effects of what happened was the resumption of dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol. Of course, certain questions, including the energy one, are being resolved in a slightly different format and at a different level, but such an option is also good. Because there has been no direct resultant dialogue for a long time.
- Literally recently, one of the effects of the current year was the closure in Moldova for the period of the emergency, and this is for a long time, of six Russian-language TV channels. I do not have too high an opinion of the quality of Moldovan television in general regardless of the broadcast language and am a supporter of its complete rethinking, but the method the officials resorted to violates democratic norms and, most importantly, violated the Constitution of RM.
The Constitution of Moldova has been violated in the country many times and without consequences for the violators, unfortunately; the long-suffering of Moldovan society is already akin to a joke. But even here there is a limit. And this limit, strangely enough, is in the very person of the Republic of Moldova, who is no worse in his constitutional right to dignity, own choice, and respect for his rights and freedoms than an American, French, German, or Englishman.
The accumulated many-year problematic social agenda, complicated first by the pandemic, and now by the war at our border, the collapse of the economy, and seasoned with violations of constitutional rights – this is a living and very unstable mixture, capable of exploding at any moment. And moreover, where political technologists from the structures governing Moldova might not have any pre-thought-out assumptions. Is it necessary to bring our country to an explosion? And moreover, by the hands and lips of those who swore an oath of faithful service to Moldova on the Constitution of RM and kissed its state flag... The wind might stop blowing again.
And so on.
Approximately in this way, through the prism of multi-layeredness, knowing the starting point and the ultimate goal of everything, you can analyze and understand any situation that interests you.
In the previous chapter, we stopped at questions about the work of the government, about what it does wrong and why... What exactly "wrong" you tell me. And why – think, based on the place where this text is written.
In every minus, there is potential for a plus. But only on condition that they correspond to the desired goal. What it is – see the above.
If the goal is understood or executed incorrectly, a premise for destruction will arise. Not necessarily of the country, very possibly of the experiment participant. If incorrect, this is assessed as a failure in the system, an error, which is either corrected (new data is introduced with the thought of bringing the research object to the initial goal of the experiment) or eliminated altogether.
When errors occur systematically, and in Moldova this year everything is more than clear, the experiment for the experimenter risks becoming uninteresting (if there is no return, then it is not interesting) and ceasing. And this we all, its active participants, must clearly realize.
We can influence the course of events, we are all participants, but only the experimenter knows what exactly in his field of vision is important to him. He himself makes the decision which factors to consider during the experiment and which – not.
I wrote in the article "The Paradigm of the New Era – Sociocracy" that if a person does not understand his natural goal, creation, and personal growth, nature will give him directly (through a natural phenomenon) or indirectly ("through second hands," through another person) a hint in the form of some problem. Solving which, he will bring himself closer to understanding the goal embedded in him. And the deeper/more stubborn the misunderstanding, the more resonant the problem proposed for solution will turn out to be.
In my opinion, resonances in our society have happened more than enough. And not only in ours... And this means that the cumulative person is stuck in an inert state and has not particularly started to change yet. For as I said in the article, premises for destruction can also be in the form of war... It has already happened next to us. Is it necessary to multiply it? I think not.
And I also think that you are also thinking about all this. And also about who is the observer in all this layering?..
I will only say one thing – he is here, in Moldova.
