I read that Brazil has withdrawn from the Global Compact on Migration (adopted in September 2018).
Then a note that the United Kingdom has expressed a desire to restore its military presence in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean.
I recalled the recent US withdrawal from UNESCO – I see it as their attempt to preserve their role as a global dominant. And also a desire not to reconcile with the new era, in which one of the main pillars is culture. And at the same time following it, as paradoxical as it may seem.
And before that – China's decision to make the position of the country's leader lifelong.
And even before that – Turkey's expression of the desire to restore the borders of the Ottoman Empire…
All these are not random facts. And they all fit into the new paradigm, into sociocracy, confirming that the world is already different. Here is what I wrote for myself in April 2018:
Habitual logic cannot always explain what is happening in today's world, but if we take as a basis concepts such as thought, the boundlessness of thought, the information field, energy, the multiplication effect (the manifestation of the same thing in different directions, see quantum physics), something will become clear.
The Trend "Towards Oneself"
In December 2014, I wrote the article "The Paradigm of the New Era – Sociocracy" (http://www.pressclub.host.ru/pr_lib/pr_raboty#37). But I began to formulate it earlier – from 2011, in the form of notes. In 2014, I collected the drafts into a common text, and in this text, every word became non-random, thought-out, and final.
For example, here:
"Since sociocracy carries within itself an idea with cosmopolitan features, over time the borders between states and their societies will become quite conditional. Which, however, does not cancel the uniqueness (identification) of countries and their peoples."
Reading these lines today, you will ask yourself – what is so special about them? It seems like nothing. But that is not the case. At the beginning of the decade, even a mention of the uniqueness of countries was perceived almost as revolutionary. In the world at that time, the trend towards unification, globalization, was deepening; the identity of countries and peoples was being erased… Any thought expressed aloud about self-identification was perceived practically with hostility. And… I internally wanted to break the existing trend. The motive is simple – I did not want such facelessness for Moldova. Simply because it is my homeland and I care about it. And to the phrase about cosmopolitanism, written in 2011-2012, in 2014 I added the phrase about identity. With the thought that we need to preserve ourselves, remember who we are, in order to withstand and continue into the future.
One can, of course, smile – you seriously think that someone's private desire and an article written somewhere will influence the world? I myself did not believe in it too much then. Although I knew deep inside that it is possible. And… yes. Today, only a blind person will not notice the relatively recently born and deepening trend "towards oneself" – towards self-determination, nationality, traditions from the depths of centuries, sovereignty, and so on. A trend of reorienting attention towards internal problems and their solution has been outlined in the world. Moreover, we are observing a conflict between old and new trends – the dispute of globalization with uniqueness. And we also see that with each new year, uniqueness gives more sprouts. Of course, there are also distortions, but the observed trend is such.
It is visible primarily in politics. France, Germany, USA, Great Britain, Greece, Russia, Bulgaria, North Africa, Ukraine, China, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Armenia… Take any country on the world map – in each, we notice either a serious claim to victory or already a victory in elections of those who focus on national aspects, internal problems of their countries, identification of their people, etc.
The Trend Towards Personality
When after thinking, I began to sketch the initial lines of my notes (autumn 2011), in the USA in the same period, completely unexpectedly for everyone, the "Occupy Wall Street" action happened. It can be considered the first manifestation of sociocracy. The action swept across the world; its meaning was fatigue from the established state of affairs in the economies of countries and the desire for changes in it.
The most interesting thing in the action is that it began in the hyper-stable financial center of the world (the long-term stable association of Wall Street) and precisely by young financial professionals, receptive not only to money but also to culture. For they are the new generation of the American elite. That is, there is a demand for personality, about which I wrote in my sociocracy.
I remember the impressions of those days, conveyed through the media. It was a shock. Because the foundation of Western civilization – money – turned out to be not as in demand as culture (financial, including) and changes.
Waves of Sociocracy
So, sociocracy is becoming more and more clearly a given.
- The first swallow - the "Occupy Wall Street" action, which captured more than one country on the planet. 2011-2012.
- The second - the mass flow of migrants to Europe and Europe's erection of fences along its state borders. That is, the movement of human masses and in opposition to it - an attempt to protect oneself from this sign of globalization, when masses freely move around the world due to the absence of borders. The peak was at the end of 2014 - beginning of 2015.
- The third - countries began to move, starting to turn their bureaucratic machines inward. The first was Greece (Prime Minister Tsipras), in 2015 attempting to turn from the EU inward. Most noticeably, the trend manifested itself from 2016. In the list of news-making countries of that year were the USA (President Trump's victory), Great Britain (Brexit), Bulgaria (President Radev's victory), Moldova (President Dodon's victory). The reaction of France, Germany. The decree of the President of Russia on the cohesion of the nation… And all this against the background of natural anomalies (up to the earlier change of directions of air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere), not understood by scientists.
p.s. There is also a mention of nature in sociocracy.
In April 2018, an open lecture by the head of the main state bank of the Russian Federation, Herman Gref, took place in Chisinau. Topic: technologies, trends, development.
I asked him about 2015 – I said, why do all the graphs in his presentation grow precisely from this date? Herman Oskarovich's answer: "In 2015, it became easier and cheaper to store data, this caused technological growth. However, the date is conditional. One can take, for example, 2010…".
His answer slightly surprised me. Of course, he relied on his own observations and reflections, but for me, it was indicative that he, without knowing it, quite accurately outlined the period of my writing the article on sociocracy – naming the date BEFORE its conception and the date AFTER the completion of writing the text. And interestingly, online "The Paradigm of the New Era – Sociocracy" appeared precisely under the rubric "Year 2015" (see the International Press Club website).
The only moment that does not let me go in observations of the world – is Moldova. It is the driving motive of many of my thoughts, but it also remains the most deaf to changes so far. As if it is the eye of the storm, in which everything is emphatically calm, rather than far from it. It is easier to achieve peace between the Koreas and support the fortitude of the Armenians than to bring order to the state of affairs in Moldova. However, this is already another page of history…
